Hi! I’m Sarah Penrod and I’m the founder here at Urban Cowgirl. After 12 years as a private chef to the biggest names in Texas, I turned in my knife roll for a laptop and camera and began a new mission-- inspiring others that they can, in fact, cook like a chef.

Together, we'll cook and learn ridiculously delicious recipes from my years as a chef, some family favorites, and a whole lot of Texas barbecue...
