What Ingredients Are Needed
For Spicy Ranch Crackers, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 package of saltine crackers (about 4 sleeves) or oyster crackers
- 1 cup vegetable oil (or canola oil, avocado oil, olive oil etc.)
- 1 (1 oz) packet of ranch seasoning mix (try spicy ranch mix for an extra kick!)
- 1-2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to your preferred spice level)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder and onion powder (optional, for extra flavor)
- Dash of Cayenne Pepper
These simple ingredients come together to make a deliciously spicy and savory snack!
How To Make Spicy Ranch Crackers
To make these delicious Spicy Ranch Crackers, start by grabbing a large bowl or a gallon-sized zip-top bag – whichever is easier for you.
Pour the saltine crackers (or oyster crackers) into the bowl or plastic bag. In a separate small bowl, mix together the vegetable oil, ranch dressing mix, spicy red pepper flakes, and garlic powder if you’re using it. Give it a good stir to make sure all the spices are well combined.
Next, pour this spicy mixture over the crackers. If you’re using a bowl, gently toss the crackers with a spatula to coat them evenly. If you’re using a zip-top bag, seal it up and give it a few good shakes until all the crackers are covered in that spicy, ranch goodness.
Now, here’s the easy part—spread the crackers out in an even layer on a baking sheet and let them sit for about an hour at room temperature. No baking required!
Once they’ve had time to marinate, they’re ready to snack on. Enjoy your bold, zesty crackers with your favorite drink or serve them at your next gathering!
How To Store Spicy Crackers
Store your Spicy Ranch Crackers in an airtight container or a resealable zip-top bag to keep them fresh and crispy. Make sure the container is completely sealed to prevent any air or moisture from getting in, which can cause the crackers to go stale.
They can be stored at room temperature and will stay fresh for up to a week—if they last that long!

Ingredients
- 1 package of saltine crackers (about 4 sleeves) or a bag of oyster crackers
- 1 cup oil (fresh is best)

Instructions
- Prepare the Crackers: Place the saltine crackers or oyster crackers in a large mixing bowl or a gallon-sized zip-top bag.
